I sent this post a few weeks ago, but it seems like it never actually posted successfully because I can’t find it back.

I observed a bug with the trackbar. I know that in previous version the behavior was correct& consistent (because of an old realease of my application)
It’s going to be a bit hard to explain this bug. Bear with me. 🙂

The behavior between a horizontal & vertical trackbar now differ.
– The horizontal trackbar behavior is ok.
– The vertical trackbar behavior is wrong.

Correct behavior (horizontal trackbar)
Horizontal:
If you click on the thumb & do not let go the mouse, then you go out of the trackbar “interaction” zone
the thumb still follow your mouse position until you release the mouse. When you come back to the trackbar “interaction” zone the mouse up has been registered & the thumb doesn’t jump to your cursor.

Wrong behavior (vertical trackbar)
Vertical:
If you click on the thumb & do not let go the mouse, then you go out of the trackbar “interaction” zone
the thumb does not follow your mouse position. Release your mouse button. When you come back to the trackbar “interaction” zone the mouse up has not been registered & the thumb jumps to your cursor even if you do not have the button mouse down anymore.

I attached gifs to demonstrate what I mean.
I also attached a demo replicating the behavior.
Hopefully, it will make things a bit clearer.
