    Hi

AlphaSkin is great and I have been using it for years.

With the new version 14.14 it seems hard to get a good result using scaling with Delphi 6.

smOldMode parameter and the “ACDPIAWARE” looks like older versions of AlphaSkin but the new scaling would be nice to use if possible. It looks really crisp and sharp but buttons are on the wrong place, fonts to small and so on.

    Any tips to succed?

    Best from Sweden,

    Peter

    Hello

Try the smAuto scaling mode and set the Scaled property of forms to False.

Some tips you can read there: http://www.alphaskins.com/showdoc.php?l=en&n=21

More detailed tutorial will be published soon.

    Hello again

Yes I have read the guidelines but it doesn't help because some object are not scaled correctly, please see attached files.

No 1 is wwDBGrid (Woll2Woll), checkbox and titles are too small!

No 2 is fsDBRTreeView (Woll2Woll 1stClass) checkbox too small.

No 3 standard form, text goes outside.

No 4 standard messageDlg, font way to large.

    Just some examples.

I love to see when it's ready and useable.

    Best Regards,

    Peter

Some internal painting in the WW components can't be controlled by AlphaSkins engine.

I mean checkboxes, they are drawn by WW code. Maybe Woll2Woll supports a scaling in latest releases already?

Other issues I will check with Delphi 6 soon.
