One form loads another with ShowModal.
If you click the mouse in the form's owner bar, you are shifting the focus to the owner form by hiding the loaded form.

Your Exe-file has been compiled with AlphaControls v12.11, I see the issue there.
Can you try the newer version of the package? Your project was recompiled with latest package version and there is no problem seems (look attached recompiled Exe).
