    Hi

When i place a dbspinedit on a form, connect the datasource/field,

use default min/max values the followin issue appears

When the value is 0 and click the up Arrow the values is set to 1, do it again

and it is set to 2. When saving the values is set back to 1.

when i do the same and have a value above 2, the the correct value is saved.

When a put a dbcalcedit on the form and enter the value manual it is set

    correct.

I use the dbspinedit (v 11.0) in combination with mySQL database and DevArt

    components.

I think there something wrong with the dbspinedit in combination with min/max value

    Regards PEter

    Hello

I have tried to repeat it with BDE – works well. I think, I need to check it with mySQL somehow…

Can you make a small demo with this issue? I will install the DevArt for debugginh then.

    Hi

See attachment for demo project. This file also contains a test.sql file for the database.

    How it works :

    • Open project, compile and run
    • Click on button OPEN TABLES
    • Select row with value 1
    • Click on the up arrow of the spinbox and set value to 2
    • Click save button and value will be set back to 1
    • Repeat it and set value to 3 or 4
    • Click save button, value is now stored correctly
    • Set value back to 1
    • Modify value with dbcalcedit and set to 2
    • Click save button, value is stored correctly

@mierlp: You're placing this issue in the wrong forum. Bugs should be added here: http://www.alphaskin…php?showforum=1

It's not a problem for the developers, but it will become a problem for you, if you would like other forum members to react: they will not find the issue you brought up. dry.gif

Thanks for the demo. Try the attached file with AlphaControls v11.02. The issue must be solved there.

I will move this topic to the “Troubleshooting” soon.
