I have been experiencing a problem with TsDbMemo fields displaying a black background in the unused portion of the field.

There is no code that sits behind the field and it happens randomly on a form, so I can have many memo fields and only one of two of them will display this characteristic. Even if I cut and copy a memo field one may show the black background while the other doesn't (as in the attached image). In the second image sample there was no data in the field and the problem still persists.

It happens regardless of the skin in use. I'm running Delphi XE6.

Hi Serge,

I have modified your test application to demonstrate the problem but can't replicate it when I compiled it.

It seems that the memo fields are interacting with something else I have on the form or the mdi form. I'll continue to experiment with it to find out what is causing the problem.

I'll send back the test app when I find the offending component.
