    Hi,
I noticed a problem with form (window) borders and title bar. These disappear sometimes. Just content of form is placed on desktop. I can not give you right instructions how to reproduce the issue, but this problem occurs especially in moment when Vista Aero is enabled or disabled.
For example, software of my TV card is disabling Aero when starting and enabling it again when is closed. And in this moment, borders of one or more windows disappear sometimes.
I myself noticed this issue with latest 6.41 version (Lite), but other users of my application reported this problem with older (6.xx) versions of AlphaControls also.

These forms are “normal” forms, sizeable, with some buttons, panels and memos. No other visual components used.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
I do not think that is exactly the same issue like in this topic.
I my case, forms looks normally, no artefacts or strange colors, just borders and titlebar disappear.
It is equivalent to situation, when property BorderStyle is set to bsNone.

Ok, try to open an application with enabled ExtendedBorders property, and try to disable and enable Windows themes.
Borders will be hidden and shown in this case. It's similar to your problem?
ExtendedBorders is invisible when system shows a copy of screen, because layered windows can't be copied there…

    Hi,
    yes, it is similar situation.
But in my application, ExtendedBorders property is False, and in my case sometimes happens that borders and titlebar of window disappear permanently.
Not every enabling or disabling of Aero cause this problem.
Closing (by button) or minimizing (by clicking on window tab in taskbar) has no effect to borders, when the window is showed up again, borders still missing. There is no way how to move (without titlebar) with such window, so application must be restarted completely.
It is annoying problem, but it occurs rarely, so it is not critical <img src="style_emoticons//smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />

Good luck, AlphaControls (especially Lite version) are great components.
    Thank you.
