As I understand, the package was installed successfully, but ASkinDemo project can't be compiled, right?
The TForm.AlphaBlendValue really doesn't exists in the Delphi 5. You should 'Ignore' it, this property will be removed automatically by Delphi.
It's not a problem that resource file of the project is recreated by Delphi automatically. This file doesn't contain any important information.
