Is there any plan to support Delphi's Ribbon Controls (implemented in Delphi 2009)?
This feature would be great. I think, that these controls could be skinned, because Delphi already has three skin for it.October 7, 2009 at 10:32 am #40700SupportKeymasterHello
This control can't be skinned by AlphaControls now, maybe later it's will be possible.October 7, 2009 at 3:43 pm #40728Christopher DelyParticipantOctober 19, 2009 at 11:45 am #40829SupportKeymasterI'm sorry, I can't say about terms because many other tasks are planned and question of ribbon skinning is not easy.

Do you have a roadmap of development tasks? A Wiki page of roadmap, timeline and bug tracking system would be great.
A very good implementation of this:

I'm busy with the version 7 preparing now, ribbon control will be added later.June 14, 2010 at 7:54 am #42776Christopher DelyParticipantHello

I think that you should focus on a stable release and speed optimazation. All other new features should come after.June 21, 2010 at 7:53 am #42835SupportKeymasterHello
Speed optimization is a main feature of the version 7 <img src="style_emoticons//smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />
I hope, applications will be drawn really faster.PS. What is your main skin?

This is NOT the Delphi Ribbon. it's their own Ribbon.
So.. since it's 2013.. 4 years later…. is this implemented or not?
January 3, 2013 at 11:31 am #49774SupportKeymasterIt's hard to skin a standard Ribbon control.
Quote:Almdev's BusinessSkinForm VCL already support the Ribbon interface:It's not a classic Ribbon control (where child controls are automatically resized and hidden), just an emulation by tabs and popup menu.
I can make such demo with AlphaControls v8 too, but time is needed.
