In a dark skin (Capucchino for instance) the selected folder in the TcxShellTreeView becomes invisible.
In the picture below the folder My Computer is selected:

I'm trying to recompile your demo-project for receiving this issue, but selection painted correctly there.
Maybe you have changed the demo? Can you give me the new demo with this problem, please?

Did you click the “Select Path DX” button?
Because the app still gives the same problem here.

In your system the selection is drawn light blue (strange color for the Cappuccino skin). In my system and also on the Windows 10 laptop of my wife the selection is drawn in a very dark color.
Could it be a Windows Theme problem?
