There is an unwanted line occuring in the new TsTreeviewEx.
Its visible on the lower left side and inside the component.
The line goes from the bottom of the last visible entry to the bottom of the component.
If you change the borderwidth, the line moves also more to the center of the component.
That line is only visible if the component has the focus. If you remove the focuse the line disappears.
What i did:
I created a new project, put a TsTreeViewEx on the form and added some random entries.
Just so you know.
Try to change the form color into a colored Texture or a Gradiant.
I have searched a bit last days to understand, that the backround color does not fit out the form. I got such lines with Speed Buttons. Anyways, that works for me and maybe it will fix your problem as a kind of workaround until it is fixed.

i was away the last few days.
Here is a screenshot of the problem.
As i said earlier, this line is only visible, if the parent-form is active.
