Hello,
I am developing a open-source tool using AlphaControls 8.17 LE. One of the users reported a bug -and I can reproduce this myself- and I thought it might be a bug of AC.
You can get said software from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/taudioconverter/
Also you can see sources from here: http://code.google.com/p/taudioconverter/source/browse/
Steps to reproduce the problem:
-After starting the program go to settings and check “Disable” checkbox next to skins list.
-Then uncheck same checkbox.
-Close that window and after adding audio/video files to the list, hit “Start” button.
-You'll see that where gauges shoulda been there are other random images.
-Same thing happens if skins are disabled, program shut and restarted and finally skins are re-enabled.
You can see a screenshot from here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19804113/Forumi/Slike/Doom9/002.png (link sent by user)

February 11, 2013 at 10:44 am #50152SupportKeymasterHello and thank you for this message.
I have downloaded them and I will check it soon.
February 11, 2013 at 11:50 am #50153SupportKeymasterI should have many tools like ttaenc.exe for executing of the program, seems.
Can you send me them please?
February 11, 2013 at 2:54 pm #50154ozokParticipantYou can download portable version from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/taudioconverter/files/ all the necessary files are included in it.
February 11, 2013 at 5:35 pm #50155SupportKeymasterThank you.
You added “Self.Repaint” procedure for a solving this issue?
I have found an error in UnitMain.pas :
Line №659 FileDuration := Durations;
“i” is undefined here
February 11, 2013 at 10:30 pm #50165ozokParticipantCode there is a bit outdated. Yes, I added Repaint and sSkinManager1.RepaintForms(False) procedures which did not solve the problem. I'll commit latest revision.
I've already fixed that “i” error but thanks anyway.
Edit: Code is now up-to-date.
February 16, 2013 at 10:03 pm #50182ozokParticipantAny progress on this matter?
February 17, 2013 at 4:34 pm #50198SupportKeymasterThe problem with repainting will be solved in the nearest release.
February 17, 2013 at 5:01 pm #50200ozokParticipantThanks, that's great news.
February 17, 2013 at 5:09 pm #50201SupportKeymasterIf you have the license with full sources, then I can send you patched files now.
February 19, 2013 at 9:36 pm #38364ozokParticipantNope, I am using LE.
February 22, 2013 at 7:47 pm #38352ozokParticipantI am afraid the problem is still there. AlphaControls LE 8.19.
February 26, 2013 at 9:22 am #50239SupportKeymasterHello!
Can you send me the Exe-file with this issue please?
Which version of Windows do you uses?
February 26, 2013 at 11:22 am #50249ozokParticipantHello,
I am using Windows 7 64bit Home Premium.
Exe needs whole package to run I'm afraid. Here is a link to latest version: http://sourceforge.net/projects/taudioconverter/files/TAC%280.8.1.1205%29portable.7z/download

February 26, 2013 at 9:59 pm #50259ozokParticipantYes, run the TAudioConverter.exe in the main folder. You can reproduce the problem by running the steps in the first post.
March 3, 2013 at 6:32 pm #38402ozokParticipantProblem is solved with 8.20.
Thanks for the support.
