I did do a quick test, this is the 'lite' version. If this is an intentional design limitation for the LE version also let me know.
The existing sample will show the behavior, any page controls hidden initially on a tab will not be skinned, if you then make them visible, then navigate way and back using the outer tab, they will be skinned.
The radio group labels are still black.
September 13, 2010 at 8:26 am #43292SupportKeymasterHello
I'm sorry, but Lite Edition have limitation in the list of supported controls.
Supported such standard components as TEdit, TMemo, TMaskEdit, TLabeledEdit, THotKey, TListBox, TCheckListBox, TRichEdit, TDrawGrid, TTreeView, TListView, TButton and TStatusBar.

Does the 'regular' version properly show the skinning on the ttabpages when they are first un-hidden (p-vis button on the demo) but the whole page is not redrawn?
Thanks.
September 13, 2010 at 6:02 pm #43310SerebyParticipantfirst of all the new Delphi version with x64 compiler should be created and then released.
if that happen then it will be a new version available!
The new RAD Studio XE or how its called has no x64 compiler inside. thats moved to the next version because its too buggy atm
September 14, 2010 at 4:40 pm #43315dunionParticipantI know x64 isn't there 'yet' but it is listed as possibly added as an update to Delphi XE during the beginning of next year. We will update to Delphi XE both to make sure we're ready for that update and also to make sure we are on the current/most supported version.
So it is important that any other components support XE or at least I know when they will support XE for planning. We have XE in-house and the few other components we use will work with XE and I plan to migrate the sources over shortly. So far a quick test indicated there won't be any significant issues.
September 15, 2010 at 8:18 pm #43322dunionParticipantAlso please confirm that the issues in the test program are all correctly working in the (current) full version or which version they will be fixed in. Thanks.
September 22, 2010 at 4:13 am #43331dunionParticipant7.06 Beta is slightly less functional than 7.05. The Lite version works less well in general, you can't add controls and it doesn't seem to skin things as well. The full/trial version still has the problem of not making the pagecontrol skinned if it's initially not visible on a page control. The radio button control does work in that version. Embedded tframes don't work at all in this beta (see same sample) – they used to.
The same code that changed skins at runtime now causes a fatal crash (see same sample).
The background of the listviews doesn't seem to have a color associated with the skin, I don't know if that is intentional or not but it's color doesn't seem to change.
I haven't tried adding any of my custom controls to the 'full/trial' version to see if they skin.
The XE support looks good.
Do you have any idea if the issue in the sample of the pagecontrol not being skinned when not visible then made visible on a page control without navigating away from and back to that page control will be addressed in an upcoming release?
September 22, 2010 at 7:01 am #43333SupportKeymasterCan you share your PC and show it?
September 22, 2010 at 2:35 pm #43346dunionParticipantI sent and email we can set that up.
September 23, 2010 at 9:41 pm #43359dunionParticipant7.07 seems to have fixed things pretty well, menus are OK, secondary forms are working, and the hidden tpagecontrol is working…
Great Job, thanks.
