ParentBackground = true should make Panel transparent, but dont!

In some cases I have to make a transparent panel, and then I set parentBackground to true. But when I use AC and skinning thirdparty panels like TPanel, those who should be transparent isn't anymore.
Any tips for how to resolve this is appreciated.

EDIT: Found the Tag = -98 trick….
