OutertechParticipant
With {$DEFINE TNTUNICODE} AlphaSkins does not compile with Delphi 7.
It uses TNTWidestrings.pas, which is a Delphi 2006+ unit.
With Delphi 7 TNT Control declares all WideString classes in TntClasses.pas.
OutertechParticipantI have just updated to 12.00, and the problem is not fixed. 🙁
OutertechParticipantI have attached an example project including executable.
There is an empty TTntEdit. Paste any Russian or Chinese text into the edit, and then hit the button.
You will see…
with sSkinManager1.Enabled = True
Window caption is ????????
Mainmenu is ????????
Button has correct unicode text

with sSkinManager1.Enabled = False
Window caption, Mainmenu, and Button have ALL correct unicode text.

OutertechParticipantThanks! Will it be 11.26?
OutertechParticipantWhat is the result of your investigation?
OutertechParticipantI have this problem also with your exe. Tested on two Windows 10 systems.
OutertechParticipantIn this already available in the latest version?
OutertechParticipantThanks for the suggestion.
When I use the add button the color is added, but when I close the dialog and reopen is the new color is gone.
How to preserve it?

Hello!
Was it fixed in the last months?
OutertechParticipant'Support' wrote:Thank you. I see that autosize is working when control becomes visible. Right?
Yes, but that is not a solution.
Many apps inclusive all mine do several calculations in MainForm.OnShow() and due to non working Autosize at that time all calculations are wrong. With calculations I mean moving UI Items around so they fit with different languages.
OutertechParticipantExample D7 project including compiled exe attached.
OutertechParticipantOn Delphi loading. But after a reboot it's gone.
OutertechParticipant'Support' wrote:Hello
Are you sure that current skin is loaded?
Yes it was. 5 hours later all the lists are populated now. I have no idea why. In the meantime I've continued to work on the UI, changing properties etc and at some point the combobox in the object inspector was not empty anymore.
OutertechParticipantI agree. A name change is urgently needed. Also more information where to purchase the commercial skin.
